Granhota

Mustard and vinegar: pillars of French cuisine

Granhota is a French company specializing in the production of mustards and wine vinegars, based in the South of France, in the Occitanie region.

The project stems from the desire to enhance two fundamental condiments of French cuisine through a rigorous approach, based on the quality of raw materials and the simplicity of recipes.

Granhota mustards are made from selected mustard seeds, processed with slow grinding and aged in wine vinegar, following a process that favors the natural expression of the ingredient. The recipes are distinguished by their balance, aromatic intensity, and clean taste, without excess or artifice.

Alongside mustards, Granhota produces wine vinegars obtained from carefully selected wines, vinified and acetified while respecting the original characteristics of the base wine. The result is gourmet vinegars, designed for daily use but also for more refined pairings.

The Granhota range includes classic interpretations and more aromatic variations, developed with consistency and continuity, always maintaining a clear and recognisable identity.

Specialised production, entirely dedicated to the world of condiments, where mustard and vinegar remain the absolute protagonists.

Papillon Gourmet chose Granhota for the precision of its work, for its attention to raw materials, and for its vision of condiments as an essential element of gastronomic balance, capable of enhancing every dish without overpowering it.

Mustard and vinegar as flavor enhancers, not just as mere accompaniments.
