In the green heart of the Dordogne, in Rouffignac-Saint-Cernin-de-Reilhac, the Plassard family has been perpetuating the tradition of artisanal foie gras and gourmet Périgord preserves since 1950.

Four generations have succeeded each other at the helm of the house, combining farming passion with the elegance of the most authentic French cuisine.

Familiar and independent savoir-faire

All products are created in the family cannery, where meats are selected and processed with the utmost care, without dyes or preservatives, in full respect of tradition and local raw materials.

Goose and duck foie gras, terrines, confits, pâtés, and seasonal specialties are prepared following recipes handed down for over seventy years, with precise gestures and slow times.

Roots in the Périgord region

Today, the Maison is one of the emblematic realities of the Périgord Noir, a region famous for its gastronomy and the quality of its meats.

The company adheres to the PGI "Canard du Périgord" and "Oie du Périgord" designations, guarantees of origin and respect for animals and the local supply chain.
